Andrea Tana was born and raised in Southern California.
In 1970s Tana moved to London, bringing many new influences to her work and her studio became a source of inspiration and the subject of a number of paintings, many of which have been reproduced as posters. A significant part of her practice is etchings and serigraphs. Still life, portraits, interiors and landscapes have been the dominant themes of her work.
Tana currently lives and works in Umbria, Italy.
